Tip 1 Trade with yourself. Bring 2-3 players to Zippy City and exchange items. Shield and mana sword for the adventurer is a nice combination.

Tip 2 Beginners should not mess around with guards in Zippy City to much.

Tip 3 Getting money is easy with the book of unlock in the shadow and sand palaces. Sell your keys and rare items found in dungeons.

Tip 4 Always investigate all rooms in dungeons

Tip 5 If you ever manage to pick up the Spork at the shadow palace, put away your items before investigating for items. You can fall into a pit ad lose your items.

Tip 6 Watch out for text messages in the upper-left corner of your screen, it can alert you that an item is Kursed, messages such as "The knife won't cooperate!" or "The amulet seems tight... ".

Tip 7 As for things being Kursed, the three most commonly Kursed items are: Cinqueta's, Knives, and (believe it or not) pretty much anything that cannot be used in many places or just aren't that useful.

Trick 1 Go to Zippy City and kill all the guards and the merchant at the arms shop. Once that is complete, collect all the merchandise and sell it to the guy at the magic book store. Then, kill the merchant there and take the books that you want. It is all FREE!!

Trick 2 Some weapons attack slowly and have a cooldown between uses. Holding two of these weapons enables you to use them one after the other, reducing (if not eliminating) the cooldown time.

Trick 3 If you want to check whether an item you see is kursed or not anytime but are not a healer, get a tundra bunny. Then drop the tundra bunny onto the item you want to check: If the tundra bunny picks the item up, it's unkursed. If the bunny doesn't pick it up it is kursed, so beware!

[edit] Fast Money

For any character, no matter how skilled you are or what level you are, there is a fast way to get money. All you need is a ranged weapon. First, go into Zippy City. Go to the magic shop area and make sure no guards are around. Take out the warlock shopkeeper and then grab as many books as you can get before the guards find you. Push escape and exit the module, then come back, acting as if nothing happened, and sell all the magic books. Each one is worth a hundred Zenny!

[edit] Battle Tactics

ROGUE Double-jump over the enemies' heads. Also, drop bear traps and lure them in, and then hit them while they can't reach you. Use the stiletto (poisoned dagger) on your enemies while they are in bear traps. Leave and come back and later to pick up the loot.

GNOME Ground your opponent with a bear trap, then blow his head off with a Gonne.

WIZARD Animate every opponent you defeat to make a grand army.

SOLDIER Hit and run ;)

Extra: Always carry a shield if possible. This applies to all classes that can use shields but mostly to the soldier, as they are limited to melee fighting.

HEALER Carry many healing potions. Stand behind your friends and heal them, let them take the damage.

ADVENTURER Use spells and weapons in an balanced way.

PALADIN Use mixed tactics from the healer and the soldier. You won't need as many potions though.

EDITING YOUR CHARACTER Edit the data.txt file in each player found in "players/xxxx". The "xxxx" is the name of the player. Change anything you want; set your gold to 8500 to buy books at the Magic Shop, set health to 100.00, etc.! Most versions of data.txt are are well documented. NOTE: Back up the file!

CHEAT CODE To gain free experience, hold down X as the same time as your display stats (1 for player 1 for example). Gives 25 XP every frame.
