[edit] Shadow Palace Walktrough

This palace is very very hard and it takes a while if you want to find everything. Recommended character in solo play is the Adventurer. Items needed are Book of Levitate, Mana Sword, Shield, Book of Faerie Light and Life Potions. Armour: Depends if you mastered the controls. Masters use light fast armor, Novice can use heavy armor so they will not fall in a pit.

Part 1 Use the Faerie Light spell to create a light that will follow you around and leave your hands free. Pick up the the key in the invisible chest in the corner behind you and go straight forward until you encounter a Blindspot!! These are one of the most damaging and most difficult to avoid enemies in the game, since it is pitch black and light cannot see through it. Go straight into the blackness and aim to hit the middle a few times. If you kill the Blindspot, there will be a chest that you can loot to get a key.

Now, go back down the passage and turn to your character's left and you will find a room with Ghouls. Ignore them and open the door. You you will encounter another Blindspot to your left. Kill him and move along the path that is revealed After that, there will be some Lumpkins and three trapped chest. DO NOT OPEN THE CHEST!! You will see another hallway and you will come across a new enemy.

Part 2 Stalkers!!! They look like yellow, transparent Trogs. They move fast and they are very difficult to hit. Block them with your shield while mana charging your attack spell to kill 'em quick. If you go the upward path, you will see some Killer Tiles and a Ninja Suit for the Rouge. The downward path leads to a group of Lumpkins, one of them with a key. Straigt up Right leads to another Blind Spot and some Ghouls. Continue on up and find a Key surrounded by Slimes. After exploring this section go all the way back to the room just after the room where you ignored the Ghouls and open the other door. Before going ahead, use the Book of Levitate... in this room there is a Blind Spot over a Deathpit!! Kill the Blind Spot and move straight up and fight the boss!!!

The Darkshine Knights Difficulty: Medium Tactic: Simply Hit them from behind but watch out, there are alot of them.

Hint 1 In the room before you come to the boss there are two doorways. Go through the one on the right while hacking away blind spots. You will see a room with Ghouls and a Death Pit in the corner.... or is it a corner???? Use the Book of Levitate to float over the pit and you will come across two Watchers. Kill them and open the chest to find an Energy Rod (not very useful) and a Book of Unlock (extremely useful).

If you go left, instead, there is a Blindspot an a blue Slimecube. Past this is a chest with four potions in different colors:

 Red:restores life 
 Blue:Restores magic 
 Yellow:Boosts speed 
 Green:Poisons you. 

Hint 2 Take the Book of Unlock and open the 3 chests I warned you not to open. One has a false bottom so bump into all of them three times.

Hint 3 Push 3 ghouls into a black pit. You will gain a weapon known as hunger! It heals you continuously and does good damage, but there is a catch... It slowly reduces your max health! Sell this weapon for 700 zenny.
