I like the idea about vamp resurrection. It is very much like the zombis in the healer start: they are only killed by holy attacks.
That means, you could just copy that behavior from the zombi script and mod it for the vamp.
At the moment, there is a vulnerability idsz in the data.txt. By making the vulnie of the vamp [WOOD] or [STAK] something you could do double damage with the steak. You could also give the vamp boss almost perfect protection from non-magical attacks.
It would be a lot easier to unlock a starter module for vladula than it would be to do anything else. BUT the starter module could be a very simple tutorial, instead of the puzzle + boss that you have in the other starters. |

Sorry, I was away. Let's complete this form:
- Why do I want to add this?
You could basically ask the same thing with the hell rover.
1. To make the player feel powerful.
2. To make the player feel that he/she is coming to the end.
- Am I clear on how this addition really works?
1. As clear as the water. Any addition to a game always roots to the following purpose: to have fun and discover new things.
- How will this change or addition impact on the rest of the game?
1. This won't really impact the way the game works. For example, in each module you might find special weapons, and the spork is noting more but one of them.

That actually happens all the time, as soon as the player gets a new and more powerful weapon, he can sell the other weapons that he doesn't need and keeps the current one, but the spork is like some sort of "final" weapon, at least for the main plot.
- Will this addition favor specific tactics, skills, classes, items etc?
1. This addiction will favour new skills and tactics. For example, a tactic you can use would be mind-controlling a specific group of little and weak creatures in order to place them strategically in different positions to defend yourself from the enemy.
2. This addition favours all classes, whoever is the spork holder. Though I still have to work on that.
- Overall, will this change make the game more fun or not? (Which is what this is all about come to think about it)
Of course it would make it more fun. I mean with all these new spells the player hasn't discovered yet and the new advantages, you could ask the same thing with the hell rover. _________________ Season: 3

Why do we need a form to add things or contribute ideas? That's weird. I thought everything we were doing already was fine; "hey, this would be cool, I'm gonna do it."
Anyway, I guess the vampyre COULD have a starter, but I still wanted there to just be one... Ah, well. _________________

My ideas for each ability challenge:
-jousting:target switches that can only be used through jousting
-double jumping:high wall that cannot be reached by the mount used for jousting
-spells of teleport:impassible wall

That makes sense. Jousting is my favorite attack method but I bearly find any situations where it excels. _________________ Current Project

Zefz just thought that adding an Uber weapon needed a bit more explanation, especially since it would play into the storyline.
What is the phrase? "Extraordinary claims, need extraordinary proof" or maybe in this case "Uber weapons, need uber reasons" |
