I have noticed that Wesnoth's ghouls use Egoboo ghoul sound. And that's not nice, I think. WHY DID WESNOTH DO IT??? _________________

Wesnoth didn't steal it from Egoboo. In fact, they both copied it from some open source thingie, and Wesnoth just didn't replace it with a custom sound yet. (As you might notice, the heal-sound is the same as well.) Get over it. _________________ Yes, it's true. I fail. Epicly so. |

As I just said, no, he didn't make it. In fact, he made rather few sounds for Egoboo; he mainly did the voices (although some of those of the healer and the rogue have once been in Wesnoth as well, so I guess he took those from the source as well). _________________ Yes, it's true. Wesnoth and Egoboo have been drawing from the same sources for quite some time, actually.
They also share other things in common; for example, they both feature monsters called Chocobones (and I have no idea who thought of it first, as the games are pretty equal in age). _________________

And Wood Elfs... And some other things... And I'm making a model for treeguy (ent), so we can have them in Egoboo, too! _________________

I don't see why it's not nice.
All the wesnoth people have to do is follow the lisence for the sounds. _________________ You really thought so, didn't you?

Oh, don't be silly. We didn't invent wood elves, and neither did they; the ancient Norse did!
And neither one invented tree-people, either. I think that's Irish in origin. _________________

Now? Right at this moment? No, I've been on the computer for too long, and Wesnoth takes a while... my brother will kill me before we can finish a game. _________________

Would be cool if we could find those sources of sound effects Aaron used. Egoboo could use more variated egobooish sounds. _________________ http://egoboo.sourceforge.net

I'm pretty sure the Hubbin is on the list. The idea has, of course, been had before.
(I know, that's some messy phrasing there. )
And Leprechaun could be a hero class for Hubbin, or even Trole. (Or both!)
(Good idea, though.) _________________

I'm possibly going to have a shot at Wesnoth, but last I checked, the game was about 100MB to download... _________________ FACEPLANT |
