I like axes myself the best. Someone should finish my doubleaxe (It just needs a proper skin for its blade). Another weapon type I think egoboo needs more of, is polearms.

I myself like swords the best - they look nice and you can get rid of many enemies pretty fast with them!

I honestly am sticking with bows and crossbows. If Gonnes were in there as a choice with bows and crossbows in the same category, I'd go for it. Just one problem with bows and crossbows: they shoot at the ground if the enemy is TOO close.

Longbows have improved aim next release so won't shoot the ground. But it requires two hands to use, so it balances out.

I made this awesome (Well, I think it was awesome) item called the Tiger Fist when i did my Shaolin Monk. Both are lost forever now, though.
Perhaps some day I'll make them again...
Anyway, I voted for whips! Whips are awesome, I wish there was more than one kind.
I was thinking about making a chain whip or something, waddaya think?
And yeah, I agree that we need more polearms. How about a halberd?
I see also that nobody has voted magic.
We all just like to smash things! 
That's why I personally can't wait for my Berserker, but I'm leaving it up to you guys and it looks like he's one of the later ones to be done, but oh well.
Save the best for last, ya'know.
