Well, I'm going to Port "Why-NeMe" or something like that, and I'm leaving tomorrow. And I won't be back until next week or so. And I won't be on the computer at all. I'm still trying to decide whether that's a good thing or a bad thing...anyway, I'll leave by car, sitting around but moving for a few hours.

Hi everyone! Very Happy

My vacation got cut-short because my dad needed to catch up on his job stuff Rolling Eyes

, but most of my time was spent in the hotel anyway. I got to drive a rented pedal-powered-majig called The Catapult (driver in back, pedals waaaay out front, two handles near the seat, one on each side to steer directly connected to an axle with the side wheels; the third wheel is directly behind the seat and is powered by the pedaling), while my little brother got a car-like thing that wasn't nearly as fast, manuverable, or fun as my Catapult, while my parents got a tandem bike. I also got in the pool a few times throughout my trip to Port Hueneme, went to the beach twice (yesterday and today), rented a few on-demand-style movies (Horton Hears A Who and Speed Racer), went shopping on Sunday, and played on the computer a lot. On the first night, we switched rooms (bad to pretty good), and I ate hotel breakfasts every morning from Sunday through Wednesday (today). On top of this, I got to eat out a few times. And today, we drove down my parents' Memory Lane as we drove around coastal areas of California (especially Redondo Beach).
BTW, the rental place was something like "Wheel Fun Center" or something, and I played tons of GeneRally and 4 or 5 games of Nethack while I was on the computer. Other computer time was spent on the Internet. And the computer had a Pentium 3 ( Whine

), so it had horrible graphics in everything and couldn't play Egoboo 2.63, 2.22, or even 2.1!!!

And the Pentium 3 was in an old laptop with the suckiest graphics I've seen after '80s computers.

Ancient history? it was made some only 15 years ago... On second thought, that is extremely old for computers...

Yes, it is.
I like it though, because it's still good for some things, like, as he said, programming.
We can also play some games.

Well, the old laptop has no OpenGL graphics whatsoever, considering that last time I tried any Egoboo version on that computer, either the screen flashed black a lot (insanely low framerate but the action happened at full speed), or the character was see-through on the visible vertexes (old Book of The Unseen glitch) and the module was invisible, or else it just didn't work (2.63b).

I don't think his programming computer has any.
It would probably crash on 3d things because it couldn't handle it.
