Heh. I always wondered why there was an unused watcher.obj in the shadow palace's directory. I never encountered it yet though... 
Has it only been added recently?
As for the boss in the ash palace, I think it should be a gigantic, evil hot dog with wings!  |
There are actually 2 Watchers in the palace! One at X = 30.5 and Y = 8.5
while the other is at X = 19 and Y = 55. They have been there from the beginning.
Cerebus would be awesome... If we had the model that is.

I think they are in some kind of secret room maybe.

[EDIT]: Okay I checked EgoMap and the spawn.txt doing a little investigation.
It seems one watcher is supposed to spawn in the middle of the starting room where the players spawn. The second Watcher is spawned in the same room as the Darkshine Knights reside. Both do not appear ingame for some reason.

Ah, now that you mention it, I even remember their coordinates, since I played around with the shadow palace's spawn.txt x-billion times. Yet I never encountered them...

It might be related to that old bug causing all the shields in the Ash Palace to disappear.

No it was not that I checked it out.
I found out why they are not spawned. It seems the colons (: ) have been removed, making Egoboo ignore those two lines. This is probably done on purpose?
