BUT I know that the texture could follow the enemy's position...

GAR! I tried to post about this before
The fireball.obj spell works this way:
Particles and enchants can spawn a character/item when they die. The fireball spawns a "Exploding Ring" character.
If you turned this "Exploding Ring" into a pet and changed its script so that it just chased whoever it's owner had targeted, you would have the targeting ring. |
