How do you unlock something at the end of a module?
I looked in EgoScript functions already.
It wasn't there.
Could somebody tell me?
Edit: And how do you make it so only one class can be there?
I'll look at some things to see if I can find out....

To make unlockable modules, you need to tell the module to check another for it's IDSZ tags:
You need to open the module's menu.txt and find these lines:
| Code: | Reference module ( Directory name or NONE ) : 123.mod
Required reference IDSZ ( or [NONE] ) : [BEAT] |
The first is the directory of the module, just copy the name of the folder the module is in.
The second is the tag required to unlock this module.
[BEAT] is the easiest one to work with because all modules get it when they're completed at least once.
Now your module will only show up in the menu if the previous one was beaten.
If you want to define your own IDSZ and add it through a script, you can do it with a function. I forgot what it is, but it should be in the Functions thread.
If you still can't find it, go to the Paladin start objects folder and look for an exit area object, it's script should contain the function. _________________ "To err is human, to really mess up requires a computer."

Never mind, woodmouse helped me on the chat thing yesterday.
My secret project still doesn't work correctly, but it works well enough to use.
I guess I'll have 5234 upload it, after I check some stuff..
