Okay, I've finished animations, script, sounds and data for the Clockwork G'nome, The Shuffling Heap monster, Scythe, Katana and a couple of magical items.
I've put all of them into the DEV bundle, which is to be released with next version.
Here is also a update on the next version changelist:
Version 2.7.? (??.??.2008)
- New Feature: Added support for two new skills, Disarm and Pick Pocket.
- New Feature: Vastly improved the lightning engine (Support for sunset and sunrise!)
- New Feature: A couple of new weapons have been added.
- Update: Tuned down the difficulity of the Ash Arena.
- Update: Scrolls now require the Literate skill to use.
- Update: Identify scrolls now also unkurse the target item (And reduced the price by 50%).
- Update: Improved the install compitabillity for Linux OS.
- Update: A number of additions and fixes to the script AI functions.
- Update: A number of item stacks can now be split and dropped.
- Update: Number of improvements using transparency for a number of textures.
- Update: Objects now support two grips in addition to a rider grip.
- Update: Improved a number of textures in the Ash Arena (Also added new title image!)
- Bugfix: A bug regarding poisoned weapons has been fixed.
- Bugfix: All timers work correctly now (No neverending poison, daze, spells, etc.)
- Bugfix: Fixed some particles not correctly lighted.
- Bugfix: The bugs in the experience gain system has been fixed.
- Bugfix: Player movement has been improved.
- Bugfix: A rare crash bug.
- Bugfix: Flying effects should be fixed.
- Bugfix: The bug in the Choose Player menu is fixed.
- Bugfix: The AI movement is now less buggy.
- Bugfix: Torches now properly unlit when put away.
- Bugfix: Input controls had some finishing touches.
- Bugfix: Some minor errors regarding detecting which tile the player is on.
- Bugfix: Mephits display correct messaging now.
- Bugfix: Levitation potions display correct skin.

| Also, I freed up the camera so you don't HAVE to look down. This opens up the possibility of using a skybox for the outside scenes. It will also require some tweaks so that the clouds and water in the gnome starter look good from other camera angles... |

The latest fix from birdsey really seems to have wrapped up a lot of reported bugs. We will wait until it's stable so we all can enjoy Egoboo properly

I especially like the idea of the improved lighting / freed camera!
That could become very handy in some modules  _________________ "Elysium" status:
