| There are a lot of things that don't export from a module. I'm pretty sure that kurse does. |

Well, what if, as an extra effect, all potion effects are undone, the smasher is hurt slightly by stone fragment particles when smashing the grave, and the weapons' performance is slightly hindered?
[offtopic]Also, IMO, the guards should just arrest your character (barring your character temporarily from Bishopia while they are sent to a Jail module where they either escape and automatically join the Evil team in towns or serve their multiple years in prison (decreases stats/exp/level and takes a little money), which in real time is only one hour or less...And if they serve their time correctly (without doing anything bad/wrong/that gets them in trouble), they are let go and join the Good team. Also, there would be a visit-able Jail module where Rogues would be given the chance to help someone break out, possibly K'nife .[/offtopic] _________________ http://www.freewebs.com/maxaxle88/

You get killed? Then you are doing bad things the wrong way
But simply kursing weapons would be a good idea. That is one thing that exports and is very easy to do. One has to think of a effective way to find out if a grave belongs to a developer though.. (If only developer graves are to react this way). _________________ http://egoboo.sourceforge.net

You mean for the GAME to know it's a developer? That shouldn't be hard to script, and it'd be even easier if you just had predefined developer graves as a separate object.
But I think you probably meant the PLAYER knowing. In that case, I think that's not a big issue; it's not very hard to tell. The mundane bodies all have comparatively normal names and the graves explain how they died, while the developers' graves explain exactly how the developer contributed to the game (though in an interesting, non-fourth-wall-breaking way).
Also, it pays to be informed.
I like games that let you benefit from a bit of background knowledge.
Also, Maxaxle, the idea, I think, is that the developers maintained the world after Aaron abandoned it. They did not create it. _________________

I meant ingame actually I know of a few solutions, but I was considering what was the most effective and best way to do it. (Splitting it into 2 object is one way, but this makes graves predefined whether they are developer or not) _________________ http://egoboo.sourceforge.net

@Zefz: That might not work because the grave messages seem to be randomized (they change between visits, and sometimes in the same visiting-Bishopia-session! (so the grave changed while you turned your back? ) _________________ http://www.freewebs.com/maxaxle88/

No, never in the same session.
Anyways that is why purple squerkle and me was thinking of splitting the graves into two objects. One with randomized developers on it. This would cause the problem mentioned above.
I could also make a content check, too see if each content is a developer (hard coded into the script), which is a lot of work and a bit silly.
Thirdly I could also reserve contents from 1 to 15 for example, for developers. The kurse will only appear if those contents are used. _________________ http://egoboo.sourceforge.net

I would make it set a random content when it spawns and have the messages based on content.

I have a question, I know, off-topic, kinda: Why was Aaron's grave there only at the first time I gone to Bishopia graveyard and the first grave I bumped sent message: "Aaron the ancient scribe" or something, but only the first time when I was there. Why? And I have a suggestion: Making separate grave for Aaron. It would be golden and bigger than the others? _________________

I second that motion woodmouse.
A special grave for Aaron is a great idea. _________________ FACEPLANT |

I start making it. But Bishopia can't handle more items, others will be deleted if I add there something... Well, if Zefz puts it there with his magical fingers... _________________
