Hey,
What happened with the rogue module that it doesn't export? Are you aware of that bug?
EDIT: This is in version 2.6.0

Hmm, I haven't beaten the Rogue yet so I can't say anything. This could be bad though... _________________ FACEPLANT |

Did you check the exit area's script if it allows exporting after (or rather, before) beating the module? It might be that this little chuck of script is missing; I had this bug before. _________________ Yes, it's true. I fail. Epicly so. |

If you finish the module when you reach the exit area, then Exporting should be enabled.
Before the BeatModule comes up, the script runs EnableExport. _________________ http://egoboo.sourceforge.net

Yes you do win the module, but when you go to players - no rogue. _________________ Season: 3

Does this happen with other starters as well? If yes, does Egoboo have writing permission on your hard drive? If no, that might be the problem. Give it the permission. _________________ Yes, it's true. I fail. Epicly so. |

It might be the problem but one thing I don't understand is why I managed to export an adventurer character. _________________ Season: 3

Indeed. Has anyone tried exporting a rogue in 2.6.0? Tell me if you did, cause if you did... Then we can blame Windows Vista again _________________ Season: 3

When in doubt, you should always blame Vista. _________________

I think I found out what the bug is: Whenever you come out with Knife, it doesn't export anything. If you don't come out with Knife, it will export and open a module called "Knife's haste". _________________ Season: 3

Yeh, something is going on with the script system. I think it has something to do with the ending - it is supposed to show you a story about what happened after you saved knife or something. Maybe that's kinda in the way, not letting the rest of the script run... I could try and remove that lines from the script to see if it works, otherwise we might need to see how the script system in the code was modified to locate the bug.
EDIT: I did some testing on it again by editing spawn.txt and putting the rogue with knife at the end. It didn't export. But when I did the same thing with the rogue only, it DID export. There is something going on when knife enters that passage, I gotta find it out. _________________ Season: 3

Actually, I think it may all be caused by the SetTargetToNearestBlahID. I had many problems with that specific function not working.
SetTargetToWideBlahID works though... _________________ http://egoboo.sourceforge.net
