Is there a way to reference object instances? For example:
Say i have 5 trolls in my module. 10 seconds into the game i want to move one of the trolls right next to my player character. But only one of the trolls. I want the rest to stay where they are. (I'm making a mod of Egoboo that requires very controlled, specific events, and i'm trying to make them a little more dynamic).
I want to do this without making separate but very similar object classes. I know that each object instance is assigned a number at runtime used to look up data in all of the arrays. Is there a way to know this number in advance or to predict what it will be?

It is working!
bgbirdsey said it had something to do with the server shutting down when there is no one on or something like that.

That was posted before database migration..
One way to know is to check the date.
The date on his post was August.
It started in September.

That was what probably happened for freegamer.
You kind of messed up.
But that's ok.
