Another notice to anyone who downloads Egoboo. Make sure you do not install over existing versions of Egoboo. Either uninstall older versions or install 2.6.1 in a new folder. _________________ http://egoboo.sourceforge.net

Is the data still 2.6.0?
Edit: Linux users, please change Makefile.unix line 2 to:
PREFIX := /usr
That was my mistake. _________________ Donna Noble has left the library. Donna Noble has been saved.

Did you install it into a different folder and your copy of Egoboo 2.4.4? _________________ Donna Noble has left the library. Donna Noble has been saved.

As I said, do not discuss this here. Make a topic in Bug Report.
EDIT: @penguinflyer: I re-uploaded the source package with your change  _________________ http://egoboo.sourceforge.net

Okay, I found some errors
* someone changed the name of lin-file.c to linux-file.c
Fix: Go into Makefile.unix and change lin-file.c to linux-file.c
* The enet subdirectory is not included for compiling.
Fix: Find the line in Makefile.unix and change:
| Code: | | INC := -I. -I.. ${SDLCONT_I} |
to:
| Code: | | INC := -I. -I.. -I../enet/include ${SDLCONF_I} |
* someone changed the name of sys_lin.c to sys_linux.c
Fix: Go into Makefile.unix and change sys_lin.c to sys_linux.c _________________ Donna Noble has left the library. Donna Noble has been saved.

Oh thats my fault. Did it because of some compiling problems...
Anyways I fixed the name changes, but I'm not sure what you want me to do to fix the missing subdirectory. Could you specify some more? _________________ http://egoboo.sourceforge.net

Add -I../enet/include to the INC := line. _________________ Donna Noble has left the library. Donna Noble has been saved.

UGH! could you make the announcement in a new thread?
If I was a new user, how would I know which of the 13 pages to skip to to start reading the comments about the newest release? If I start reading at page 1, it is talking about v2.4.4 or something...
