Pretty much, yes. However, 2.4.4b and lower still work. So I don't really think this stuff is related to each other...

As the updated title says, the new Stable release is ready for download.

The website is not updated yet. Be sure not to install this over a existing version of Egoboo and backup your save games.

Windows release so far only.

I got in the first time, but there was no music and I forgot to setup my controls. I got out, did the controls, went to get back in, and I got log.txt on my desktop saying
Fatal Error: setup.txt not found

Eh? You must have messed up setup.txt somehow then... Probably copied the setup.txt from 2.7.7 or something like that.

No, it was a clean install, different folder, everything. Just a big FATAL ERROR: setup.txt not found

I cannot start up the game at all. It shuts down with the exact same error message as 2.7.5 and 2.7.7 have... There's a log.txt, but it's empty.
