Finally, a Linux version! Can somebody post a config for laptops? I can't play because I have no numeric keyboard. Btw. I can't change the brightness which makes it unplayable on some levels (even if somebody sends me a new config).

All in all - great to have a new version on Linux.

You can use a joystick instead of the numeric keyboard. (for the brightness I don't know but if your talking of the dark dungeon it's normal, make a topic in the 'Help' category)

Anyone here compile this for OSX yet? I attempted to run a quick xcodebuild but it failed =( i'm no Mac programmer though

It should be fully compileable in OSX, but that's mostly Jonathans part (He is the one who has built the previous OSX binary avalible).

It's not building properly on Mac OS X right now. The source code for Egoboo 2.4.4 had a bunch of endian errors in it. I went through and attempted to fix them about a week and a half ago, but building it now it looks like I missed some of the issues. So the game's crashing once you try to load a model.

Other recent changes to texture loading have broken textures on big endian machines as well.

So I could probably get a release together that works properly on Intel Macs, but not on PowerPC ones. As my primary development Mac is a PowerPC one, that doesn't really work for me. Smile

I'll make sure there's a working Mac version when the next release happens.
