I think it should be mostly indoors, but the path leading up to it would be outdoors. There would be grass and trees and a radius of cleared land (nothing but grass), around the temple entrance.

But yeah, his hair does need to be a little browner. Also, IMO, Zombis shouldn't really be a part of the temple unless they're rotting corpses that are already dead.

What about a puzzle? Like the one in Catacombs level 1 (that won't work, by the way... Just the messages that come when I make it wrongly...) and if you fail there comes a boulder rock every time?
