What exactly do you want fixed?
Anyways I tried opening the site in Ubuntu Linux, and the site looked a bit messed up. The text was not synchronized with the background, making the text overlap the golden textbox borders. _________________http://egoboo.sourceforge.net

What browser?
And I said before but you musta missed it; the text on the main page needs to be moved down a line, because it's outside the box slightly.
Maybe we should do a text-only site -- or maybe the old version -- for the people it won't show up for? _________________

It shows correctly on my current browser, Firefox. I also used firefox in ubuntu (same pc). It might have something to do with resolution too. _________________http://egoboo.sourceforge.net

I was using Ubuntu with Firefox 3.0b5 and it does that. It has to do with the fonts used. _________________

Ohh fonts. That can't be helped, then.
I bet everyone has these problems; we're just the only ones who care enough. _________________

We could try "Times New Roman" for the font:
<font face="Times New Roman">blah</font>
I have it on Ubuntu. _________________

you could make a little javascript thing that detects the window size/screen size and adjusts the point size of the fonts automatically?

But that won't work if JavaScript is disabled in the browser.
Anyway, I should be able to do that in Firefox... _________________

Well, then you would probably have to have an alternate set of web pages for non-javascript-enabled browsers.
If you had a javascript redirect, then it would not redirect if javascript was disabled.

Maybe you could have a main page without Javascript and if you have it you get re-directed to a Javascript page? _________________ ...i c whut u did thar...

But how are you going to test whether javascript is turned on using HTML?
I think all of the javascript tags are just ignored if it is turned off.

If javascript is not enabled, then the browsers use the <noscript> tag.
Like this:
Code:
<html>
<body>
<script type="text/javascript">
blah, blah, blah
</script>
<noscript>
No Javascript
</noscript>
</body>
</html>
