Wow, that's, uh, frightening.
I really didn't see anything wrong with using the same model as the elf, because there's already things that use the same models as other things.
...But if you want to change it, you're sure welcome to.
In fact, your deranged bunny looks not half bad; if you made the ears way smaller and maybe turned them back some, that would be cool.
The only problem with this is that I just drew this nice picture of the Hobgoblin yesterday, and if the model got changed I would do it over again (I was going to use it for an avatar or something).
But oh well. One, I don't really have any way of getting it on this computer at the moment, and two, I whipped it up in about twenty or so minutes, so yeah.
Oh, and by the way, I didn't edit the elf at all, he already had that hood. _________________

True dat, but it shouldn't be our goal...

Why not post that so I can get an idea of what you wanted.

LOL. I think the guy needs the hood converted to a backpack... unless what I thought was a hood was actually a quiver...
Anyway, a tinkerer cannot get along without a bag/backpack. Maybe he needs some tools? I think roboteers would always need a backpack for tools... Roboteers because it seems like the ideas for this char are very high tech compared to others in the game (flying city and all).
At one time there was some idea of adding some sci-fi ideas to the game. Maybe these guys and their robots could be the sci-fi element?? |

Haven't you ever played Nethack? It's hilarious, if you kill anything you can eat it. If you eat a Yellow Mold you hallucinate and see enemies as, for example, Barney the Dinosaur.
I don't think it's that gross, but then again, I like sushi (although I've only had it, like, once), sooo... _________________

No, seriously, play Nethack.
You'll be literally spitting ideas for Egoboo out of your ears once you've played that for a while. _________________

Yeah, it should be, like, a requirement if you're going to develop Egoboo, because the mood is often compared to it and I think it was a big inspiration for Aaron.
I should warn you, a lot of people are turned off by the fact that there's no graphics.
You can get versions with static sprites though...
Anyhow, everyone else finds it very addicting. Another warning. _________________

I'm going to make a pirate next, I think, just so everyone knows.
They're going to be able to use tons of crazy stuff, like smallish barrels of grog you can toss at enemies to damage them slightly and temporarily daze and grog them, and bananas you can either drop on the ground (working like a bear trap, but causing them to be dazed instead of just trapping them) or eat. When you eat it, it restores a little health, but there's a chance that it's rotten and it poisons you. For pirates the chance would be much smaller.
After that I think I may make a Druid or some kinda nature-using magic person like that. _________________

OK, that was random, but yeah, I used to have Slash'EM with the graphics in your second example and one of the Eye's for vanilla. (I don't remember which; it's whichever was the one not abandoned, I think that's Vulture's...) _________________
