So every place it has "rand & 512 + 512", that should be "rand & 511 + 511"? Or 511 + 512? Or just 511? _________________

OK, anyhow, I have the script working properly (FINALLY!!!). Now I need to know how to make it change the particle to spawn depending on the type (because I don't want to just try and then screw everything up again!). _________________

But that, and I have almost no clue how I'd do it; like what order I should set up the arguments so they don't conflict with each other, and stuff... _________________

I'd do something like this:
(The syntax may not be perfect, but bear with me here.)
IfTargetID [HUMA]
SpawnParticle = 1
In this case, The first particle will be the red blood for humaniods.
IfTargetID [BUGG]
SpawnParticle = 2
The green blood particle for bugs ( Tranches, grubs )
IfTargetID [DEMO]
SpawnParticle =3
Blue for demons. ( Lumpkins mostly )

You only get 7 particles max and some of them have to be your damage particle(s) (for hand-to-hand combat).
Generally it is not a problem for characters, but some items (like torches) require like 5 particles, un-moded. |
