Fun with Pencil is just about the basics behind characters and such. So you don't have to follow suit with the book's design.

It's pretty good, nice work. Smile

However, I'd make the background a bit less... ...how shall I express it... ...eye-piercing. It distracts a little from the actual picture. And his shoes look a little clumpy. But other than that it's really nice, keep it up! Clap
