|
|
Alright, then, here is my slightly revised future schedule:
1. Wait for a working computer.
2. Finish druid scripting.
3. Make pirate items (or someone can do it right now! You can go with my ideas, or just use your imagination, or a little of both. Anyhow, if you're not doing anything, you might give this a try).
4. Make pumpkin bombs and lightsaber ( ). This should be fast, actually. At the same time I'll redo the existing Hobgoblin items a bit.
5. Make a new class! Yay!
So here is a list (based on my own feelings and the opinions expressed in my previous poll) of the classes I'm going to do.
I think I'll probably do all of them at some point, so the question is, which first?
(Yeah, I know, that's a LOT of classes, but whatever. It's cool.)
Ability recap--
Berserker: Awesome physical strength and pretty good dexterity, but horrible defenses. Can use heavy weapons and maybe throw himself into a rage that makes him even stronger but slowly harms him or something.
Bard: Can use musical instruments to cause various strange enchantments on foes.
Jester: Possesses some of the abilities of both the pirate and the bard.
Centaur: Mountable character.
Werewolf: Sort of the companion to my Vampyre, can bite foes and they turn into werewolves to help him.
Mystic: A magic user who is able to use some arcane and divine magic (and as such is shunned by pretty much everyone else)
Hubbin: Possesses some of the abilities of both the rogue and the g'nome.
I think that's about it!
Please note that all of these need new 3D models, if none are done in time I'll just wait it out and work on some items and pets.
(The hubbin and bard would be the easiest, probably; the bard just needs some kind of neat little hat, and the hubbin just needs different proportions so he's about the size of the g'nome... The mystic needs a turban, the jester needs its iconic hat, the centaur just needs animation [and IMO a new skin I can work off of, as it is completely different than any of the other character skins-- it's way bigger], the berserker needs a horned helmet, and the werewolf... well, duh, a werewolf )
I also had some strange ideas for weird different races somewhere down the line, like a dinosaur/raptorlike humanoid race; really really fast but weak strength (tiny arms ) and maybe able to bite as an attack when unarmed.
That's in the far future, though, I expect. _________________

Yeah, looks like centaur is going to be done first, though. Not really all that surprising; it got the most votes last time too. _________________

Yeah, now that I think about it, it seems silly to do the Jester without the Bard first, but oh well. I'll just do the Bard right after it (there's no reason not to, as at that point it's skills will all be in place). _________________

I would vote for having the Jester and the Bard being the same class (Else it would be like making a Soldier, Warrior and Knight). Name it Jester though, more Egobooish _________________ http://egoboo.sourceforge.net

Well, the jester was going to have the musical abilities plus the abilities of the pirate...
But it's a thought, yeah; that's probably best as it shortens my list.
It can also use its own crazy stuff like... uh... Hey, that jack-in-the-box thing!
peeerrrrrfffeeecct... heeheehee...
I've just been playing FFVI, and I really like the concept of Gogo the mime.
When customizable skills have been fully implemented, we should have a character that revolves totally around skill versatility.
Weak, but can do practically anything... that would be cool. Maybe even learn skills from enemies or allies. _________________

Okeedokee, the new order is like this:
1. Centaur
2. Werewolf
3. Mystic
4. Jester
5. Berserker
6. Hubbin
The order will be changed if:
-The people who have not yet voted do so
-I get the models in a different order (So obviously our few modelers have a lot of power here, but it would be courteous to do the Centaur first, as people have had to wait a long time for that already) _________________
