Yo, wasn't here for a long time but sorry i told ya :S
I would like to know:
Is there a working version of egoboo++?
and if, can i get a download link to the full package of the code?(please no SVN or the like just a .zip/.rar/.gz archive or something)
I would like to get myself startet with the linux and windows programmings for egoboo
Greetings
RCX_Genesis
BTW:
if i wrote a dll(dynamic linked library) in c++ would it work with egoboo?
or should i rather write static libs? _________________ The time is opponst me but i'll wait for the right moment to strike. |

I would work with the latest code in the trunk, rather than Egoboo++. The 2.x branch in the trunk is planned to be converted from C to C++.
I can't think of a source package of Egoboo++ out there in a tarball or the like.
All versions and branches of Egoboo can be found in the SVN though _________________ http://egoboo.sourceforge.net

Hey; welcome back, I remember you.

And, yeah, Egoboo++ is pretty old, I think. So unless you were just planning to mess around.... _________________

*sigh* however i just dont get startet with c(somehow it's not handsome when I use c++ classes and so on)
but i could do exports in a dll, so you can still get my code running,
now I'll build the trolltech QT libs statically(to use the networking that runs under linux win32 and mac alike) until that i just look into OGL somehow..
until later,
RCX_Genesis
edit: BTW is there any need for an text editor that makes editing scripts easier?
Icould write some editors for win32/linux(mayebe for mac too) when i got the mingw package for my QT lib ... _________________ The time is opponst me but i'll wait for the right moment to strike. |

bgbirdsey is working on a network code that he has uploaded to a branch in the SVN repository.
I was actually thinking of the same myself How useful it would be with a text editor that recognizes all script functions and can make a debug check. _________________ http://egoboo.sourceforge.net

maybe i could help him somehow, so do we use peer2peer or server2client.
since the programming is not everything syncronizing and so on is too a lot of work lol. _________________ The time is opponst me but i'll wait for the right moment to strike. |
