In the Rogue Starter, when you go to talk to K'nife (the g'nome), he won't respond. Funny thing is, he responds even in the FIRST release! He also responds in a few other releases, but guess what? Not this-or the last-release! _________________ http://www.freewebs.com/maxaxle88/

Just drag him back to the room he starts in! I've gotten him to work many a time in this release! _________________ ...i c whut u did thar...

Huh. Maybe he should work regardless of his spawning point. In fact, I've actually done that, but he wanders. It's so annoying, and I can't tell where he spawns!!! Why can't he just give you the key wherever he is...? _________________ http://www.freewebs.com/maxaxle88/

He spawns always exactly the same place everytime. The problem lies as you say in the fact that he wanders around (Possibly when enemies come to near?). Anyways he needs some changes in the script to fix this. _________________ http://egoboo.sourceforge.net

Yup, it's really annoying, as you can only really get your basic rogue equipment if you rescue knife. And if he prevents himself from being rescued... Argh. _________________ Yes, it's true. I fail. Epicly so.
Hmm, I guess that K'nife reacts towards enemies while he is imprisoned (Maybe all that needs is make him not react to enemies before he's saved). _________________ http://egoboo.sourceforge.net
