Hello, my sister has the invisible characters problem and she needs help.
Graphics card is Intel 845G.
Uses Ubuntu Linux 8.04 LTS.

Hmm, try see if 2.7.5 or 2.7.7 works correctly. It might already be fixed between the versions.

2.7.5 works, but it goes anywhere from 12-22 FPS.

Hmm, it may be that the SDL and OpenGL image extensions used in the older versions of the code doesn't work very well with all Linux systems. It may be something specific with her video card that doesnt like the game.

The FPS is because of her using Compiz.
