I'm super new to EgoBoo. I actually found out about the game through trying to look for md2 model editors. the first thing that struck me about it was its Bomberman 64 like look and that already brought back memories. I need help with control configuration and I want to have a resolution size of 1280x1024..unless thats not possible. I hope multi-player will soon be working as well  _________________

Welcome! Yep that error has something to do with the informe database. Hopefully it will be soon fixed. Next version of Egoboo will support a ton more resolutions, actually any resolution your graphical driver supports! (Egoboo will detect them for you). Current version of Egoboo should support it too. You could try to put it in manually in setup.txt _________________ http://egoboo.sourceforge.net

you can edit the screen size in the setup.txt file to be anything you want (assuming it is a valid resolution on your computer).
In the next update, the video configuration will auto detect your full screen resolutions. |

yeah, I got the resolution working earlier that way =]
I'm still super new and trying to beat the agent level where you rescue the fairies. I'm trying to do it without respawning, I already beat the gun pirate ship one after..that was so fun. I like how the enemies can be hurt by others and get caught in those bear traps. thanks for the warm welcome and I would be happy to contribute to this neat game. I usually play Quake and I have edited and made some models for it. I was just getting into trying to find an md2 editor so I can fix messy vertices for Soldier of Fortune and Kingpin. I am also a musician and I have been getting into making experimental/ambient type of music..so maybe I can make something. I like the music I hear so far. so is there going to be a server based multi-player or anything cool like that soon? =] _________________

As for editing Md2s:

You do music, that's not cool!
(That means you'll get to do everything because it takes me so long to do mine... )
No, seriously, it's a good thing, actually.
I think at some point the whole game should have 100% unique music. The music it has now is cool, but still, how much cooler would it be if it was specifically made for the game and all that, right? _________________
