I was going to say I wanted to save the pages to my computer so I can work off what we already have (the pages I have saved are old), but... DUH! I can do that already. Rolling Eyes

Also.
I wanted to change the menu, because most people (including me) don't like how it works now.

A: The active button floats to the top, but the rest retain the same order.
B: The active button stays where it is, but still pops out and changes color.
C: It's fine how it is.
D: Something else?

Personally, I think I like B, but A would be good too.

I'll set it up for B for now.
By the way, I think I'll add a screenshot archive thing; just a huge page full of screenshots.
Is there an email address we could have people send them too ("If you have a screenshot you want added to the gallery, email it to ____@______.___").?

Ah, yes, I thought I had that set up already.... I'll do that, then.

Oh, an update on what I've been doing:

So far, I've just updated the banner (it has fuzzy edges now, and it looks much, much nicer). I don't know that I'll get a chance to work on it again today, but I plan on doing, next:

-Rearranging the buttons
-Adding alternate text to the images
-Uploading more screenshots
-Updating the About page to accommodate said screenshots
-Updating the news pages and whatnot for the new release
-Adding an extended news archive (a text-only page with ALL the news on it, not just the most recent stuff)
-Taking more screenshots and uploading them
-Adding a large screenshot gallery

...That's kind of a lot, so... Maybe Zefz should "release" the new version on the forums (like it has always been done before), since it can't go up on the website quite yet?
Really, though, the last few things on there don't need to be done before the new release.

Yeah, website update comes usually second anyways.

If we get lucky I can get the new version uploaded today or more probably tomorrow. On an sidnote I added the "attack speed based on dex" to all basic weapons. This means all magic weapons are more awesome than before with perfect attack speed. It's on todo.

I don't think all weapons should have it, though; maces, hammers, axes, etc. don't really need it, do they?

I know. I haven't touched those.

About 10 dex is normal speed. Numbers below is slow attack speed. 20 is noticeably faster while 30 is very fast. Number above is faster in the extremes.

Gunpowder speed is based on a combination of dexterity and intelligence.

Casting haste just to gain a lot of dex or using amulet of dexterity: both gives a nice attack speed bonus. We could make magical weapons especially for faster attack speed only.
