Hey, yeah!
Why don't we have a Fire Emblem -esque rock-paper-scissors weapon superiority rule in Egoboo?
I mean, it's an action-RPG-dungeon-crawler thing, with not much strategy.
But it could work! It could ADD strategy! _________________

Nah, I know a few characters with spears *cough cough* Trogs *cough cough* that owned me when a certain guard-type person *cough cough* Brom *cough cough* was killed by them. It's "swords < spears < axes < swords", actually...
Anyway, ranged weapons are not considered in that rule. However, there also are some rules like that for magic, depending on which FE you choose:
Always: Anima > Light > Darkness > Anima
FE9 and later additionally: Fire > Wind > Thunder > Fire

What's FE? Anyway, I don't like the idea of weapons strategy in the way that some are greater than others. For example, daggers are quick and only hurt stuff in front of them, while scimitars are slow and deal damage in 180 degrees.
