Oh, Megaman, and other games, too, use it?
Maybe we DO need something else then.
As long as we're borrowing, I vote for Zorkmids. _________________

I would suggest indeed some kind of name that will make no doubt that was created specially for Egoboo. Plus for additional fun, wouldn't it sound great like:
Beggar: Hey, sonny, don't you have 3 Standard Type Economical Currency Units Immune To Inflation And Twisting Reality Around Them Which Explains Why They Can Be Found Inside Ancient Dungeons And They Do Not Take Any Equipment Space Despite Being Of Size Of Standard Dinner Plate to spare, huh?
It may be little hard to put that name in all menus and conversations but hey, it's still great thing, isn't it?
.. No? Oh well..
More seriously: In the world when you can ride on bigass mouse, things like currency name isn't that important. But well, if you find good name, then why not? |

How about an acronym for that? Stecuitiatratwewtcbfiadatdntaesdbososdp!
Well, maybe not. But, conceptually, it could be a good idea. _________________

What about "epi"?
The latin word for "Bishop" is "Episcopus", so epi would be like an inside joke. Plus it is short and sounds OK when you say it... |

Episcos hat too many syllables? Maybe it could be Piscos, like pesos? Even if the official name was Episcos, it would be shortened in natural language to epis, piscos, or piscs (maybe piscs -> pix == piks, since the scs == sks is a little annoying)?
Then, there could be some connection to fish, since piscos is like Pisces? |
