I think that there may be a lot of people who play Egoboo and don't even know that it's still being developed over here. Somehow we should let them know about it... Also, even among the people who play even this version, hardly any of them have joined the forums (There are only thirteen people who have actually posted). I also thing the wiki could get more attention, because there's a lot of information on there now, and I'm not sure a lot of people really look at it.
It seems like the only people who join the forums are those interested in developing the game, and none of the regular players bother to come here and ask questions or report bugs.
My solution? When the next release comes out, on that update we could put something like "Don't forget to join our forums so you can ask about anything you need help with and report any bugs you encounter! Stuck somewhere? Want to know what weapons will do best against what monsters? Visit the wiki and find the answer to your problems. If you have any cool tricks or just general information, don't forget to share it!"
Yes. In it's current secure development rate, Egoboo can't have any harm of more publicity I think. Hopefully it will attract more developers. People need to know that helping developing isnt impossible and can be very fun! Umm, I was talking about Vladula, but whatever. Cookies will be in the next release anyway, I think. Because Zefz, you're putting in all the particles we give you, right?
At any rate, we should keep trying to come up with ways to get the word out about the project among those who play Egoboo, or even just tell people who don't even know about the game.
I admit, I'm out of ideas.

I've noticed that there's a Wikipedia entry for the word "egoboo" and it says that "Egoboo is also an open source computer game in the spirit of Nethack."
It links to the original website; maybe we can create more traffic by changing this to link to the home.no site? _________________
