Actually, I take that back.
It wasn't a total waste of time, because I still have the cool model / texture.
If someone thinks they can give it a cool ability, I'll upload it. _________________

You may check out my thunderspear in the DEV package. It spawns electric thunderbolt spears that are thrown and are destroyed upon impact. The ammo will constantly regenerate and if you are out of ammo, you use it as a normal electric spear. _________________ http://egoboo.sourceforge.net

Hey, here's an idea!
Can you rename it to Gungnir and use my model and texture? They're pretty neat, I think.
Because then my stuff can be used. But I don't have to do any more work. Because that was pretty painful. _________________

Care to share your model then. If it is good it will be probably used somewhere anyways. _________________ http://egoboo.sourceforge.net

OK.
Here it is, along with Finale and Naegling. I actually think Finale is the best-looking of the bunch.
http://www.freewebs.com/purplesquerkle/Legendaries.zip
You already know what Finale is supposed to do, and what Gungnir was supposed to do. But I was thinking Naegling would be a ridiculously strong sword that also gave a small amount to your maximum strength with every successful hit.
It was also going to have a strength requirement, so only characters that were pretty tough could carry it. Or maybe it should just be limited to Soldiers, Paladins, Zombis, and suchlike?
Actually, I can't see a Paladin using something like that, really (you'll know what I mean when you see it). So just Zombis and Soldiers? _________________

A strength boost whenever you hit sounds a bit too powerful, maybe whenever you kill something.
Edit:
I was bored so I decided to help you with your stuff.
I've made Icons for Finale and Gungnir and gave Finale a spining drop animation (Like the knife's).

Yeah, I guess a boost when you kill something would be better.
Oh, and I decided to give Gungnir another shot: I have a theory that any poke-type weapon is hardcoded to turn into a throwing weapon when it's stacked. This probably includes ammo, so I'm going to give it some and see what happens.
Anyway, thanks. Finale did have an icon before, but it was more symbolic and not a picture of the actual item. Yours is really good (as is the one for Gungnir)!
Oh, and did you make any changes to the texture file to Finale that was included?
While I'm at it, try to guess what models I used as bases for these. Naegling's really obvious, and Finale kind of is too. It might be hard to figure out what Gungnir's was, but as soon as I tell you you'll be like "well duh!"
Now, on to another question:
I want to check if an item is idle, and if it is for too long, it EXPLODES (spawn a ton of particles) and harms the player.
This is for Mjollnir, an incredibly powerful hammer. But if you don't use it for too long, it blows up in your face, dealing a TON of damage. Actually, I changed my mind; it KILLS YOU INSTANTLY.
I think it should be pretty easy to do, right? _________________

Yeah, just put a timer in there, which resets each time it is used (Or hits something). _________________ http://egoboo.sourceforge.net

I'll just make it reset every time it's used.
I don't want to be THAT evil. _________________

The player just needs to remember to press the attack button then
A tip: Make it glow dark red or something the longer time elapses without the weapon being used. Use SetRedShift. _________________ http://egoboo.sourceforge.net

Red glowing is good. Was gonna use reds and yellows for the color scheme anyway.
And, yes, that's kind of the point. Anybody who has it must become a demented berserker in order to survive. _________________

Yea, I think it looks better this way, you don't have to use it though. _________________ "To err is human, to really mess up requires a computer."

What did you change?
Looks like the edges are lighter. Is that it? _________________
