Software. The only difference between 2.4.4b and later stable versions is the compiler.

what would happen if we changed it back? is the old compiler worse than the current one? by the way I like your new avatar zefz

I will see if it works doing that. It may be even that it isn't the compile settings that is causing the trouble.

Still the best thing would if some of you could compile the game on your pc, and see if it works.
