Hello.
I have decided to make a pet shop in Mighty Wood. But I will need all pets made so far. Including Grubby.

I think you just put its general type, such as "Book" instead of "Book of Missile", and use Droppers (like in Zippy City). I think Zfez should be able to help with this.
P.S. Grubby is incomplete ,while the Bloodthirsty Squirrel is in 2.22 in the Adventurer's inventory, the Frog is in the Ice Palace (make it easy on yourself: copy it from the Objects folder), and the Tundra Bunny is in the Ash Palace (same here). _________________ http://www.freewebs.com/maxaxle88/

Hmm Pet shop. It has been discussed before. The old team decided pets were a dungeon only findings and couldnt be bought in towns (Not all pets at least). But adding pets to a shop could be cool. How to do this can be tricky. I have a couple of ideas, but they would need some scripting.
Pets in Egoboo:
- Tundra Bunny
- Frog
- Hog
- Grub Bug
- Clockwork G'nome
- Blood thirsty squirrel
- Minicobra
- Magic Blob

If the modules are ever strung together into a full storyline, it would be better to have the pets in the dungeons.
On the other hand, the sporks are the REAL treasure of the game, so maybe there is not enough reason to make the pets hard to get?
For the "real" game it might be possible to get the less exotic pets in a store, and have to adventure to get the upgrades?
On the other hand, the pets level with you, so getting low-level pets shouldn't be a problem.
Maybe there could be a level restriction on buying the pets? The shop keeper could be snooty and refuse to sell good pets to lowbies? |

I have one that's very simple, and requires no scripting.
Okay, maybe it needs a little editing here and there, but no actual work.
Just make a cage model, and use a locked chest script.
Then add pets inside like you would with a normal chest and put the keys up for sale in the shop. |

Good point. I had an idea, though: "use" the cage, and the pet is taken out and put in the other hand, or else it gives the stats, although that would be not-helpful. Also, a tank could be used for the Frog.
P.S. The cage should be a rectangular prism (box stretched on two sides), with some clear spots between bars (which are metal), and a gray bottom (metal).

That's a pretty good idea, but it needs trees....and walls. Maybe you should model it off of that one part of Bishopia where there is a HUGE space between 4 impassible walls. I only got there through a Book of Teleport as a Level 6 Elf. _________________ http://www.freewebs.com/maxaxle88/

Yes, I had some plans of adding things there. Not a new shop probably, but rather a cementary... maybe a dungeon entrance (crypt?) or at least something sidequest related. Maybe Ill add the entrance to the catacombs there? That might be a good idea.
