I doubt it; it's a lot of work. If people wanted to work on a mapping program, they'd probably start with Egomap. Why make something from scratch when we already have something nice that could be improved?

I know, but that doesn't place stuff for you or have special effects for certain tiles (slippery, damaging, shiny, etc.), or even make certain parts of maps impassible. _________________ http://www.freewebs.com/maxaxle88/

I found a bug in EgoMap alpha 14.
I was making something, and when I tried to open it again, it couldn't find the plan and crashed.
I looked and saw the plan wasn't there.
It mysteriously disappeared!
I think it is a bug.
It did something with the plan.
And it either moved or got deleted somehow.
Now I have to redo it, and it might do it again anyway!
So I'll wait for your solution.
Edit: I have an idea!
If EgoMap crashed when I was making it, and it auto-saved, everything but the plan....
But I don't remember.
Remember!
If so that is still a bug.
Edit again: I made the module and again and saved it.
It was there!
So I think that it autosaves.
But not the plan.
So I found a probable bug in one double edited big post.

Egomap does work in wine.
That's how I use it.
