1. Open the command prompt. (Start->Run->cmd)
2. Type C:\\Program\ Files\\Egoboo\\ 2.6.0\\Egoboo.exe into it. (You might have to change this accordingly to where you installed Egoboo)
3. Tell me what it prints out. |
No, I can't.

1. Done.
2. Done.
3. Nothing happens except for the command prompt closing. _________________ Yes, it's true. I fail. Epicly so. |

Most windows programs can't be started from the command prompt. It used to be that a warning would be printed out into the shell, like "This program cannot be started from the command prompt".
I just checked my system and the program will not open, and no message is printed out. |

In Unix (and Unix-based), the whole thing is centered around command lines...
I think Microsoft TM should keep that warning. _________________ You really thought so, didn't you?

| It is the responsibility of the linker/link-library to put out that message. But is is a bit archaic in MS Widows. It is the command line that is the special case! |

2.6.0 uses almost the same code as 2.4.4b
It just differs in SDL versions. So I hope reverting to the old SDL will fix this (It did fix the music). _________________ http://egoboo.sourceforge.net

I have already fixed it and packed it in a 2.6.0b bundle. But I am managing some other stuff before I will build the installer. _________________ http://egoboo.sourceforge.net

Hehe. The release is being delayed because of me adding small new features in it. I was thinking of replacing the Ghouls in the abyss with Ghuuls, which are faster, nastier and poisonous. _________________ http://egoboo.sourceforge.net

Would there be more more spawns of them? Or would they just be a teaser for the final dungeon? _________________ Current Project
