I am happy to say I got Egoboo 2.6.0 working on Linux! (Is it supposed to go ~80 FPS?)
Sadly, I cannot upload it anywhere. _________________ You really thought so, didn't you? |

Great! That means 2.6.0b should be working too.
What did you do? Was all what needed an .sh script that worked? _________________ http://egoboo.sourceforge.net

No... I got the lin_file.c from 2.7.5 into 2.6.0 because the one that came with it didn't work, changed graphic.c so the GLAttribute for the colors didn't execute, and some things I don't remember. _________________ You really thought so, didn't you? |

It would be very nice of you if you could somehow send the source to me then. (e-mail, upload it somewhere or commit it to the SVN on a 2.6.0 branch) That way I can properly setup 2.6.0b on the Website so that all Linux users may enjoy the game
And 2.6.0 has no limit on the FPS (This is what bgbirdsey talked about). So high FPS is nothing wrong. On my pc the FPS reaches around 300 _________________ http://egoboo.sourceforge.net

Also: I don't have a SVN account for Egoboo SVN. _________________ You really thought so, didn't you? |

For that you have to have a user in the sourceforge network. In addition either me or bgbirdseywill have to add you as a project administrator to the Egoboo project. _________________ http://egoboo.sourceforge.net

Let's see, do I want to be a project administrator? What do you think Zefz?
(I don't know how SVN works, I only know how to checkout.) _________________ You really thought so, didn't you? |

| you could always use SVN to generate a "delta" or a diff file and one of us could apply that that to the SVN. |

you could just email the sourcecode to zefz, and he can do it for you (or forward it to me...) |

Hey, that's kinda mean. You are being mean to Penguin! Think how it would feel if I would call you a caveman?
