Okay. I tried the Catacombs 1 and played for over 30 minutes. It seems I keep missing an a key needed to enter the final room. I ended up with 1 Normal key from the tile puzzle, and a boss key. It seemed as though a explored every area.... _________________ Current Project

Yeah. I think it should add icons beneath your name or something. Or instead, what if the sporks just didn't use up inventory space?
I really liked my idea for dynamic inventory. If we did that, the size/weight of the sporks could be zero, so they wouldn't take up any space. _________________

@Hiroy: Hmm... Are you sure you did not fall down a pit with a key? Let me think... Is it possible I added one key too few? That happens when few people have tested it Anyways I will make a proper search through the map and play it from start to end myself. _________________ http://egoboo.sourceforge.net

I'll test it again to make sure.
Nope... No luck. It's probably missing a key or it's completely hidden.
Here's the jist:
- 1 Key from switch puzzle.
- 1 Key near the room with the puzzle tip
- 1 Key from the actual tile puzzle
- 1 Boss Key from Butcher
You need 1 key to enter the mini-boss room for the Boss key. You also need 1 key for the room to where the puzzle tip and another key is. That leaves you with 1 Key and 1 boss key. Even if you manage to have 2 keys for the path to the boss room, you would not have a boss key, since you need a key to get it.
It's either that, or I'm missing something extremely hidden.... _________________ Current Project

@Hiroy: Please, don't double-post .
@Zefz: All of that, the doors and buttons are walk-through, and when I use a character from 2.77, the character is invisible and monsters don't react to my character.

YAY! *goes download* ...oh, wait, it isn't up yet, is it?
Anyway... I think having sporks stackable would be a bad idea. You could just go and play the same palace over and over to get 5 sporks of the same type; I don't know of any way to make different items stack onto each other and still being different. (I once tried by accident; I made a super life potion with the same stack-ID as life potions, and when I stacked them, all of them became regular life potions) So far I think making them not being real items is the best solution, which should be well doable with the new quest-log Zefz planned to add. _________________ Yes, it's true. Well not really. With the quest system we can Lock finished modules. We can even check how many palaces the player has completed!
(The nice thing is that this quest thingy is logged individually, so the module won't be locked for new characters). _________________ http://egoboo.sourceforge.net

Awww... The module would be locked after collecting the spork? But I like playing them several times with the same character...
Also, if you accidently got rid of one (or all) of the sporks in some way, you'd be in real trouble... _________________ Yes, it's true. I fail. Epicly so. |

Exchange would with could. If we want.
We can also just add the checking of how many different palaces are beaten (That way the player has to beat all, but she can still collect all sporks from one palace if we make them stack) _________________ http://egoboo.sourceforge.net

What if we would make something like... THE SPORK SHOP! (If you lose a spork, you could find it from a spork shop somewhere welly hidden place at Bishopia Capitol or somewhere. Is it wvwn possible? _________________

Yeah, it'd stink if you couldn't go back. Because the palaces are a lot of fun and all. Plus, if you didn't beat the Sand Palace fast enough, you wouldn't get the Archaeologist!

Well good news. 2.6.0b is finished
I think I am to tired to put it up today. But tomorrow will be the release date
- Update: You now gain bonus xp if Brom, Mim, Whitebeard or Lord Hagen survives.
- Update: Baseball Kirby!
- Update: The Abyss has a new title image.
- Bugfix: Music works again.
- Bugfix: Shadow Palace no longer crashes.
- Bugfix: Mephit wings stop flapping if their master dissappears.
