You enter a small yet busy town. A dusty wooden shield near the entrance says "Keytak Town", and the grim guard standing next to it looks at you carefully. There isn't much of interest in this little town, but you have heard rumors that there are brave adventurers being seeked in the tavern somewhere near the entrance. However, all the houses look quite the same, so you can't really find out by yourself which of the houses the tavern is. What do you want to do?

Well, I have built my character according to what you said in your post about the stats being around 0. Also, although I've already played pen and paper RPGs a few times, it's the first time I create a character like this, so please indulge me.
So:
Brother Onnigel, level 1 Healer (or "Priest", as you like it)
HP: 15/15
MP: 10/10
XP: 0/100
Gold: 0
ATK: 4
DEF: 3
Shield: Crude wood buckler (1 DEF)
Armor:Thick white linen robe (2 DEF)
Weapon: Iron mace (4 ATK)
Items: Holy symbol
Food ration
Holy water
A clove of garlic (As good for seasoning as for warding off vampires!)
Power: +1
Dexterity: -3
Wisdom: +3
Intellgence: -1
Attacking: +1
Dodging: -4
Casting:+2
Resistance: +1
Spells: -Healer's kiss (No MP cost: drains 1 HP to give 1HP to an ally)
-Minor Healing ( 2 MP. Gives back HP =the rolling of a six-sided die + level of the Healer)
