I actually made a passage work? Oh my god.
That motivates me to make a custom module! |

You can put the Archaeologist as done.
And I take dibs on making a Hero class for the Wizard _________________ http://egoboo.sourceforge.net

Okeedoke.
Just to remind, I've already claimed the Paladin and Soldier, and... maybe one more, I forgot it.
But now that we're doing branches, that's quite enough to be getting on with, I think....
In case nobody has noticed, I did update the list today.
Oh! And is the Archaeologist fully implemented? Unlockable and everything? _________________

Could you add the Archer under classes in progress? _________________ "To err is human, to really mess up requires a computer."

Right now its unlocked from start. We need to add that achievement system we discussed earlier. I like how the AI of the jungle warriors turned out. They are scared of water and can dodge bullets with their ultra reflexes.
I think this is the hardest starter module yet. Hehe and snakes, Indy has a ferocious weakness when fighting those. _________________ http://egoboo.sourceforge.net

Well, while I'm working on the skins, can you add a script to some object in the Sand Palace that sets a timer, then? And if you finish before eight minutes (that was what I thought was reasonable, but if someone thinks otherwise, or thinks the whole idea is dumb, say so), it completes a quest. It can work like Zombor, right?
Shouldn't be too hard to set up.
We (i.e., you) can work on the achievement system for next release (or if that's unreasonable, some future release, just not this one, of course). _________________

Well, I am not workin too much on the current (old) code as I've said before, because it is going to be scrapped for a new one anyway.
It is possible to add that timer now already, but for the next release I want it unlocked from the beginning (for people to playtest it).
If we indeed want the Archaeologist to be an unlockable class instead of a base class. I added archaeologist armors into all the shops in zippy and bishopia. _________________ http://egoboo.sourceforge.net

OK, good, I was going to ask if you'd done that... in Zippy you replaced the Rogue armors with Archaeologist ones, though, and didn't just add something new, right?
So no more "This is for a Rogue" when you ARE a Rogue?
Anyway. I don't think it should be a base class for three reasons:
1. He's way too cool.
2. He's aesthetically unusual.
3. We already have a good number of base classes.
The third reason is the biggest. I don't think we should overwhelm people with too many starting classes. Also, unlocking things is fun.
Why can't we unlock it first and THEN test? _________________

I think the Inventor starter should be unlocked after the G'nome Starter. And I honestly don't think Hero classes are such a good idea. I mean, that means thinking of something entirely new and then practically making a new character class! I mean, we still can, but it'll be insanely hard.
@Everyone: Maybe Indy could be a Ranger (or whatever he was before he was an archeologist) up until Level 3 or so... _________________ http://www.freewebs.com/maxaxle88/

No, just... archaeologist.
Anyway.
Hero classes shouldn't be too hard. We just need three different quests, and new skins, and... yeah. It's WAY less work than new classes.
Anyway... IS there an inventor starter yet?
And just beating the G'nome starter once is too easy. Maybe something secret inside the G'nome starter.... _________________

(Zefz, the text is changed, too; you can just save this over the old one and everything should be fine.) _________________
