I was probably getting a midnight snack when I thought of it, but I was thinking..."What if there was a Chef class in Egoboo? Knives, pots, etc. would be his class-specific weapons..." Knives, spatulas, forks, spoons, ladles, etc. would be his weapons, pots and pans would be his shields. His hero class? Iron Chef, or Fancy Cook, or something like that. _________________ http://www.freewebs.com/maxaxle88/

Sounds good.
We can make a bunch of unlockable fun classes, like the chef, and some monster classes. _________________ "To err is human, to really mess up requires a computer."

THAT'S THE COOLEST IDEA I'VE HEARD IN MONTHS!
Seriously.
How cool would it be if you could smash monsters over the head with a skillet, and then throw their brains in a pot and turn them into a meal?!
That'd be amazing!
Can I make some stuff?
Like frying pans, giant knives, etc.?
We don't even need a new model; the healer's would be perfect!
I can also do skins, too, if you want....
(Iron Chef hero class. Seriously, though, that's perfect.) _________________

YIPPIEE!!! CHEF!!! It's a great idea! And I want to make skins, too... Well, if I make some and PurpleSquerkle makes some and Maxaxle picks the skins he wants? _________________

Sure! The first would be something humble-looking...like a peasant. The second would be some sorta fancy, like a frycook uniform, then the third would be a modern barbeque cooker, with a "kiss the cook" apron. The last (fastest and also pretty good for protecting!) would be a really fancy cook's uniform.
And it's good to see that my idea has support ^^.
P.S. I especially like it because now I can smash monsters over the head with a frying pan . _________________ http://www.freewebs.com/maxaxle88/

Woodmouse, how about you do two and three and I do one and four?
And then... Should I start with one, first, so you can know what to make the face look like and stuff... Or do you want to do that...?
Anyway, I'll also try a frying pan and a meat cleaver.
Oh, but cookies might come first or... Maybe I'll just do them at the same time.

No. Butcher Knife. Really square, small handle, a hole near/in the top.

Give it random sounds for the time being so that we may decide which to use. Make sure they aren't the existing mace sounds, and one (or more) of them should be funny, like a cartoony one. _________________ http://www.freewebs.com/maxaxle88/

No... they have a hatchet!
It's... different.
...Somehow.
Aha!
Here:
See, they're less square. Particularly the top and bottom ones; that's what I was thinking of making it like.
Anyhow, Maxaxle, I don't really have any frying pan -like sound effects.... _________________

Umm... Umm... I have an idea that would not be nice to your parents (if you still live with them) wouldn't like... Hit chairs and soffas with frying pan, if you have one... _________________

@AoD: That sounds pretty funny!
@PSquerkle: The middle one was what I was thinking of. The top and bottom ones are pretty nasty-looking, though; they're worth putting in as variations that would just look scarier.
@woodmouse: Coming right up... (I'll attach the sound to some emails, I guess)
EDIT: Dented a really cheap frying pan , and instead did sounds with a much sturdier, heavier, smaller one. Just ask for 'em! (successful hit and drop sounds. The drop one is a little long.) _________________ http://www.freewebs.com/maxaxle88/

@AoD: lolyes; do it for the third one, Woodmouse!
@Maxaxle: I think I'll do some variations, then. A good chef has many knives! _________________
