This was not a bug. I just checked it out. Enable Smooth Particle effects and the flames look normally. I am releasing a new version of 2.7.7 with some really minor improvements and with an installer that makes the game run properly from installation (No need to download the package). _________________ http://egoboo.sourceforge.net

If you read my announcement post, I released Egoboo 2.7.7 with a new installer (Including slightly different Setup settings).
As far as I can see, I changed particle effects to SMOOTH, enabled VSYNC and GFX_ACCELERATION. Do this manually in setup.txt (This is the most secure thing to do, to make sure the settings are as you want them). _________________ http://egoboo.sourceforge.net
