Well, it's about the ultimate speedrunning tool in the game but the item itself is broken. I can run through the palaces under a minute by teleporting room by room and ignoring the bosses. Should this kinda power be avialable to buy?

I agree, i skipped the entire abyss and got to the Daemon lord without depleting my resources ( ammo Mr. Green

) on the other monsters in the abyss.
It should only be available as an ultra rare boss drop after you win the game.

No, it should take more to use, and should have a chance of malfunctioning.

I already thought that the spell costed a considerable amount of mana. In addition there is a semi-high requirment to gain the spell. I think that a Wizard needs to be level 4 or so, while a elf 5. Dunno if Adventurers are even able to use it. Anyways the Wizard and Elf are weak in most other aspects, their strenght is the abillity to use the unique powers like these.

Now that I think about it, it's not quite a broken as it seems..... That's until you get that bracelet in the Catacombs 2, but that's the whole fun in reward I guess.

Yep, methinks adventurers can cast it at level 10 or so. What bracelet are you thinking about?

That Bracelet that makes your mana recharge a bit faster.

Whatever. I think the Book of Teleport should ONLY be used by the 5th and 6th-level spellcasters.

Making it having some chance to malfunction still sounds like a good idea to me. We could make it sorta like "user needs to have high INT to use this book. 40 INT is perfect, 25 will almost always fail. If it fails, the user disappears for a very short moment, then reappears at the same spot *some funky sparklies* and takes about 3-7 splintering damage" or something like that. Do you understand what I mean...? Laughing

Hmm, maybe... Intelligence to keep control over the spell. Or increase mana cost. Or reduce casting speed. Or increase level requirement. Remember that in the next release, mana regeneration is corrected, so the regain rate is only 1/10 of what it was before or so (Which may also balance out things a lot).

How about it can malfunction and warp the user to a random place on the map, but in midair? And it would drop them? But only if the user was stupid/not very intelligent...
