I tested it and he can drop items if the inventory is not full... If the inventory is full, it can't... Strange... _________________

Maybe. Well... I don't see there any problem, but everyone knows I'm not a born scripter... _________________

| Are you using the development version? There may be a problem with the inventory that was fixed in a later update. Otherwise, the inventory is controlled by the sourcecode. |

Yep.
It might be because Vladula's folder is from a much older version, though. That might cause problems, I don't know....
Anyway, is the fact that everything uses the wing part an accident, an oversight, or a genuine problem? _________________

I'm not certain what this phrase means. |

All of the faces use the part of the texture with the wings.
So the wings are also mapped onto the body. _________________

| Is that the way it is supposed to be? In the re-skinning I sent you, it should have the "normal" body instead of the wings. |

The wings have the texture of the wings.
The body... has the texture of the wings, too.
Oh!
Is this because I was using 2.6?
I think you said somewhere that it was "no longer shape sensitive". Do you mean that in the stable versions, it doesn't like rectangular things? _________________

I've never tried to load a non-square texture, so I don't know what will happen in the stable versions. At some point, we started using a version of Jonathan's loader that will perfectly load any image with any power of 2 along either axis.
I don't know what the old loader would do. |

Alright, well...
Do you have time to test it in 2.7?
If not, I'll fiddle with it until it actually works.... _________________

I'll do that.
I did the reskinning in MisfitModeler, but it wouldn't load Jonathan's model viewer, so I left it at that...
GAR! I sent you the wrong file. Check your email for the new file, and I uploaded a screenshot.

OK, first off, it definitely does not work in the stable version of the game.
Anyhow, now that you've been nice and done it, I get to complain about what's not quite right...
His face (and really, his head in general) is a bit odd and squashed-ish. Like, his eyes are too far down... Everything needs to be moved up a bit thereabouts.
The shoes must be using a wrong part of the texture; they should be just black, I think.
His right wing, from the front, appears to have a large chunk missing from it. From the back, only a small sliver at the bottom is visible at all. _________________

This is the way that the model was originally. I thought you wanted the illusion that his hat was really tall.
There is no part of the wing that is transparent. The wings themselves are arranged so that they are partially inside the head and back of the model. I think this is what you are seeing.
I think the bitmap that you sent was not an indexed-256-color bitmap, so all of the regions that are black were being rendered as transparent. This was messing up the display of the model. I had to change the colors so that the blackest black was just above black to remove this effect (like <1,1,1> instead of <0,0,0>). |
