I think berserk should only be activated after the player gets hit several times, or maybe after the HP are reduced to half.
I like the idea of auto-attack, but maybe he can't tell the difference between friends and enemies?
There should also be a red tinge to the character when the effect flips on (or a bunch of skulls as the particle effect?)
There is a technical challenge to the use of PressTargetLatchButton on yourself. All the game latches for a player are blanked and then overwritten by his input device. I'm not sure what would happen if this was changed so that the result of the script was ||'d with the latches from the input device... |

I've tested that script effect before. It works nicely. I had it activated when the character was near a other enemy AND facing it. (The item should be droppable in K'nife's Heist). _________________ http://egoboo.sourceforge.net

| You don't necessarily need to do it. We can just add berserk as a skill that can be "awarded" by some means. |

I'm not THAT much into them. Maybe I could instead elaborate on my Inventor's skill, make it somewhere between the G'nome's special ability and the Adventurer's special ability. And make a Tazer Gonne that only Inventors and G'nomes can use that is powered by the user. I made a tesla gonne once; but that negates my tazer tranch...
I think the G'nomish/Inventor steampunky stuff should focus on bullets and fire, while the Hobgoblin sci-fi stuff is like electricity and laser energy. _________________

I thought Hobgoblin was hi-tech stuff that used pure energy...my Inventor is focused more on harnessed, precise zapping with electricity and firing bits of matter in new ways...
Anyway, the Tazer Gonne will be used like a Pistol, will look like a pistol, but will zap enemies at whip range and stop them in their tracks for a few moments, without being able to use their weapons. It only has one shot, though, and it charges up in 10 seconds (wow). I just need help making the electricity arc to the enemy without going all over the place like a wand of lightning.
